What does the Bible Say? When you hear of "wars and rumours of wars" the end is not yet a few things have to happen first.
1. Nations will rise against Nation
2. Famines, Pestilences, and Earthquakes in Diverse Places
3.
Then true Christians will be hated of all nations for Jesus' name sake.
4. Many Christians will give up the faith under the persecution.
5.
False Prophets and Deceivers will deceive multitudes.
6. The Everlasting Gospel will be preached to all nations.
7. The abomination that causes desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel
will be set up.
8. Christians will have to flee to the mountains immediately when they see that signal.
Here is the Passage from the Bible, Matthew chapter 24.
24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
24:8 All these [are] the beginning of sorrows.
24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
24:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
24:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here [is] Christ, or there; believe [it] not.
24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
24:25 Behold, I have told you before.
24:26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, [he is] in the secret chambers; believe [it] not.
24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

End of the World We are living in a period of time
that is of overwhelming interest to all. Political leaders
and legislators, men and women who hold positions of
trust and authority, thinking men and women of all classes,
have their attention focused upon the events taking
place around us. People are watching the strained, restless
relations that exist between countries. Thousands observe
the intensity that is taking possession of every earthly
element, and they realize that something great and decisive
is about to happen--it appears that the world is on
the verge of its most tremendous crisis.
Even with all the signs that are taking place, there
are many people who scoff at the idea that this world
will come to and end.
The Bible gives us the truth about what is really happening,
it says that Angels are even now restraining the winds of strife, that they may
not blow until the world shall be warned of its coming
doom. But there is a storm is gathering, ready to burst
upon the earth; and when God shall tell His angels loose
the winds, there will be a scene of strife that no pen
can picture.
The Bible, and the Bible only, gives us the correct
view of these things. In it are revealed the great and
final scenes of the history of our world. The events
taking place today are a precursor to the final events
which even by their approach cause the earth to tremble
and men's hearts to fail them for fear.
"Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh
it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth
abroad the inhabitants thereof. . . . They have transgressed
the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting
covenant.

kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness
unto all nations; and then shall the end come. "
Matthew 24:14
The great protestant reformation was helped by the development
of the printing press, finally people could have a copy
of the holy scriptures and read the Bible for themselves
in their own language. Today, in our time, the everlasting
Gospel is being preached around the world via Radio,
Television,
Internet, DVD's, CD's, Missionaries, and more.
Additionally, in the past century there has been a great increase in man's ability to travel quickly. A missionary, or preacher, can get to different parts of the world in just a few hours.
The development of computers and the internet has also greatly enhanced the ability of the Gospel to move quickly. These increases in knowledge and man's ability to travel are a fulfillment of this end of the world prophecy:
"But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal
the book, [even] to the time of the end: many shall run
to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." Daniel
12:4
In Daniel 12:10, at the time of the
end, the Bible says that many people will understand the prophecies.

all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and
receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God,
which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his
indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone
in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence
of the Lamb:" Revelation 14:6-10
The gospel message that is to go through out the world
at the very close of earth's history contains the strongest
warnings ever given to man. These warning messages are
being given around the world today, they can be found
in Revelation 14:6-10.
#4 - Doubters Scoffing at the Bible Prophecies "Knowing this first, that there shall
come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own
lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming?
for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue
as [they were] from the beginning of the creation."
2 Peter 3:3-4
Even though the end of the world signs are being fulfilled
on every hand multitudes of people scoff at the Bible
and the idea that the end of the world as we know it is
just about here.
#5 - Nations Distressed, People Fearful, Great Disasters Caused by Water and Waves - Great Floods and Hurricanes, etc. "And
there shall be signs in the sun,
and in the moon, and in the stars;
and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity;
the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts
failing them for fear, and for looking after those
things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of
heaven shall be shaken." Luke 21:25-26
Signs have been occuring one after the other, people are
truly afraid, and the governments and politicians are
at a loss for what to do about all of the problems. Yet
at the same time multitudes are saying that everything
has gone on as it always has. But this is not true, even
the director of FEMA, James Lee Witt, has said that weather
related disasters have been increasing.

blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more
than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying
the power thereof: from such turn away." 2 Timothy
3:1-5
Wickedness abounds, even in the largest 'professedly'
Christian churches.

Prophecy "Thus saith the Lord
God; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: . . .
exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high. I will
overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more,
until He come whose right it is; and I will give it Him."
Ezekiel 21:26, 27.
The final overthrow of all earthly dominions is plainly
foretold in the word of truth. In the above prophecy the
sentence from God was pronounced upon the last king of
Israel.
The crown was removed from Israel and passed successively
to the kingdoms of Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome.
God says, "It shall be no more, until He come whose
right it is; and I will give it Him."
Prophecies #8-18"And
as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came
unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these
things be? and what shall be the sign of thy
coming, and of the end of the world?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that
no man deceive you.
When ye therefore shall see the abomination
of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand
in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)"

Last Days Prophecy #19"Knowing this first, that there shall come in
the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since
the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they
were] from the beginning of the creation.
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the
word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing
out of the water and in the water:
Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with
water, perished:
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same
word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the
day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men." 2
Peter 3:3-7
The Bible predicted that even though God has left us abundance
evidence of the world wide flood during Noah's day, people
would be "willingly ingnorant" of that
it happened. They are also ignorant of the fact that God's
great love for us has caused Him to grant us a little
more time to repent of our sins before He destroys sinners
